These terms cover your use of Daily Delve, a free daily video game trivia game run by RYL Software. By playing, you agree to them. Questions: hello@ryl.software.
Playing fair
- Each day can be played once, on the day. Results are final.
- Don't use scripts or bots, try to get questions or answers early, or interfere with the site.
- Don't use more than one account to climb the leaderboards.
We may remove scores or accounts that break these rules.
Accounts and names
- You need to be 13 or over to create an account, and you're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure.
- Your leaderboard name mustn't be offensive, pretend to be someone else, or include personal details. We may change or hide names, and suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
Answers, scores and cosmetics
- Every answer's rarity is set by us in advance. Answer lists can contain mistakes; if you spot one, tell us and we'll fix it for future days.
- Scores already given stand, and our decisions on answers and scores are final.
- Cosmetics are unlocked with XP only. They have no money value, can't be bought, sold or transferred, and may change over time.
Ownership
The game, its questions, answer lists and pixel art belong to RYL Software. The games, characters, studios and trademarks mentioned in questions belong to their owners; Daily Delve is an independent fan game and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them. Emoji artwork is from Google's Noto Emoji (Apache License 2.0) and the fonts are Silkscreen and Atkinson Hyperlegible (SIL Open Font License).
The service
Daily Delve is free and provided as it is. We may change, pause or stop it, or any part of it, at any time. We aim to keep it running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, as far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for any loss that comes from using, or not being able to use, the game.
Privacy
How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy and cookie policy.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to play means you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings where you live.
