Daily Delve is a free daily video game trivia game. Every day brings 7 new questions about games, the same 7 for everyone. The rarer your answer, the more XP you score, and your XP takes your adventurer deeper into the dungeon.
A day's run
- Each question asks you to name something from the world of games: a PS2 game, a Zelda character, a FromSoftware boss.
- A question stays hidden until you reach it. Then you have 30 seconds.
- Wrong answers don't end the question, so keep guessing until one scores or the clock runs out. Anything still in the box when time's up is sent as your last answer.
- Stuck? You can give up on a question and move on to the next, for no XP.
Scoring
Every question has a fixed list of answers, and each answer's rarity is decided before anyone plays, from how familiar it is to gamers. What other players type never changes your score.
| Tier | XP | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| 100 | Legendary. The hidden answer for this question. | |
| 85 | Epic. Proper deep knowledge. Few get here. | |
| 60 | Rare. Genuinely uncommon. Nice find. | |
| 30 | Uncommon. Solid, and plenty of players went this way. | |
| 10 | Common loot. The first answer most people think of. | |
| 0 | Out of time, or you gave up. |
The dungeon
Your XP is how deep you get: every 100 XP takes you down a floor, from the Mossy Cave to The Throne Room. 600 XP reaches The Throne Room, and a perfect 700 defeats the boss.
- B1: Mossy Cave (0+ XP)
- B2: The Sewers (100+ XP)
- B3: Ice Cavern (200+ XP)
- B4: Sunken Temple (300+ XP)
- B5: Lava Forge (400+ XP)
- B6: Haunted Castle (500+ XP)
- B7: The Throne Room (600+ XP)
